Making The System Pay For Itself
When designing the first Windows Veterinary Practice Management System we realised that we had to make the system earn enough extra money for a Practice to justify the cost of changing system. Each consulting room can have a digital camera connected as a part of the system. With most systems the client is the main record. The client owns animals that have clinical histories. In Mentor the clinical history is the centre of the system. The history belongs to an animal that has an owner. Anything in the history can be 'clicked' and will expand or lead you to a fuller explanation. Financial control in Mentor is simplicity itself to operate. Full details of all work, payments and credits are kept against each client in open-item format. You can look as far back in the financial history as you please.
